From a strategic perspective, the bank wanted to diversify its product offering and enhance fee income component of the bottom-line.
Project
The objective of the project was to develop a structured finance / securitisation product to diversify product range and enhance fee income generation. An important criterion was to make sure that the product is able to trade in the secondary market.
The project included development of the product, legal documentation, software to support transactions, internal approvals all the way up to head office, deal closure and the preparation of product manual.
A part of the project was to train the transactors on how to identify transactions and sell the product.
